English Speaking Nursery The Little Steps follows the polish core curriculum of preschool education in accordance with MEN regulations.
Additionally while working with children we use various elemnts of proven methotds such as: Veronica Sherborne's Developmental Movement, linguistic immersion by Maria Montessori or global reading.
The programme lessons in the english speaking nursery are realised through educational projects prepared by teaching staff with regard to the content of the core curriculum. The learning process is based on experimenting and continuous discovering the world through workshop activities, numerous tours, meetings with unusual people, games or performances.
Carefully prepared programme and appropriate methodology, constantly challenges children, giving them a chance to find their own solutions, draw conclusions and learn critical thinking. English Language
The English Speaking Nursery The Little Steps guarantees 3-4h of english lessons per day. The nursery however tries to make sure that an english speaking teacher accompanies the children all the time during their stay at the nursery
Learning the English language is implemented in a natural way, by partial „immersion” in the English language.
Children listen to the language first, then start to understand it, and after a while, when they are ready for it, start to speak.
At the English Speaking Nursery The Little Steps Children are introduced to the world of english language without any instructions nor explanations in the mother tongue. Children intuitively learn the language by listening and observing the teacher in natural, everyday situations. In this way they are inspired to ask questions, aswer, or speak however first of all to understand what the teacher is saying.
The methodology used at the English Speaking Nursery The Little Steps for learning english language is considered as one the most succesfull ones. The effectiveness of this method is due to the fact that children are surrounded by a foregin language and use it as their normal language of communication with others.
